Name Meshing

I just read an article about "Billary." Would somebody PLEASE alert reporters that this name meshing thing is no longer clever?

It all started with Ben Afflect and Jennifer Lopez's zillion dollar in your face romance-I can't remember what their name mesh was (Bennifer? Blowpez?) but all of a sudden every journalist decided this was the coolest idea in the world. Almost as cool as ending every conspiracy/problem with the word "gate," as in:

Hockeygate (parents killing eachother at their 8 year old's hockey games)
LittleLeaguegate (same as above, only involving wooden bats)
Other "gates" I can't remember right now.

But back to name meshing. We've got "Brangelina," "TomKat," and now "Billary???"

Knock it off journalists! It's old! It's over! It wasn't then, and isn't now, even remotely smart.

Although if you're looking for a new name mesh, I'd like to suggest "Janzel." Or maybe "Cloonic." Just in case.

I kind of like the sound of "Noagy," myself. Do you wanna alert the press or should I?

"Noagy" kinda sounds like a sweet couple.

I can picture them together at the mall all cute and giggling, shopping and getting icecream cones....

Isn't that what they do on Thursday nights?

NoOprah gets the kind that comes with little pieces of bubblegum in it and carefully picks all the pieces out and saves 'em....then spends the rest of the evening blowing big pink bubbles. Awww!

As for Hoagy...well he gets Tiger Stripe flavoured cuz he thinks it makes him seem intimidating.

Bet they share.

But do they specifically share by hooking their forearms together, wrapping them, and taking a lick off each other's cones?

bacon ace,

That's MY take. How sweet!

Do you think they hold hands?

They hold hands while they're shopping and looking at the pretty clothes, of course...and sometimes they skip up the aisles. But they just do the linked-arms thing when they're sharing their ice cream cones.

Hey, do you think they have sleepovers and do each other's hair after some of their little shopping trips?

Cake,
Of course those things are happening. As well as the fact that copious amounts of giggling accompanies these activities.
